Is it possible to completely change from eating junk food to eating healthy food?
i have never really eaten healthy ive always eaten junk, but now i want to start being healthy and lose weight. It will be so hard but i want to try do it.
I did that myself just last week. The key is to just go cold turkey, or else you’ll keep jonesing for those bad junk food sugars. Stick with lean meats, eggs, cheeses, and plenty of GREEN vegetables. Stay as far away from starches and sugars and the pounds will melt off. I’ve lost 7 pounds since June 1st and I eat MORE than enough. I’m a man who works out so my calorie intake must remain high but for breakfast I usually eat 6 eggs scrambled with 4 slices of cheese and 8 strips of bacon. I won’t eat a real meal again until dinner and it will either be a 16 ounce steak OR a LARGE GREEN salad (not both). If I get hungry throughout the day I’ll snack on cheese or broccoli.
The first week is the toughest but if you stay strong it will get easier.
Once you’ve reached your goal weight begin to add potatoes and limited fruits.
Last year I lost a total of 46 pounds this way but fell off of the wagon over the winter and gained some of it back. I’m back at it and will be even more successful this time around.
Good luck!

Eating foods you like on a varied day to day change of foods can make the body lose weight. Your body becomes accustomed to your food intake and expects it everyday to keep putting the fat on.

It isn’t that difficult at all.
Healthy food tastes much better then junk food. Once you are used to it, you won’t want to go back.
When you are trying healthy foods it is is good idea not to buy the very cheapest , veg, rice and pasta. For a few pence more you can can much better taste. You will still be spending less than on junk anyway.

It is possible. I have done it!! YOU just have to decide to do it. YOU must be ready to change or you won’t.
-Eat every 2 – 2 1/2 hours. Try to eat protein with every meal or snack.
-Incorporate a lot of vegetables and high fiber choices. Fruit is good too.
-Use a protein shake as a meal replacement for snacks.
-Eat apples with natural peanut butter for a treat.
-Avoid ENRICHED anything!! No white bread, No enriched wheat bread, No crackers, chips, cookies, pies, candy, soda……etc.
When you start eating healthier and more frequently, you will have less fluctuations in your blood sugar levels which will help with cravings.
-Drink 80+ oz. of water/day.
-Take a multivitamin.
-Have less and less cheat meals/snacks as you progress until you finally are only having one cheat day or cheat meal.
-EXERCISE!!!!!!!! Weight training & Cardio!!
My cheat meal is pizza or sushi or anything with cheese since I avoid it during the week. Sushi is fairly healthy but I mostly eat brown rice during the week.

It is a lot easier than you may think. I grew up loving junk food and now I gravitated toward healthier food just because it honestly tasted better to me. Of course there are times where I do eat junk food, but it is okay is the majority of what I am consuming is healthier foods. It is just important for you to taste a lot of different healthy foods to see what you like. You are not going to like everything. So, try what you know you like first and then periodically try something new. I often surprise myself daily on food I like. I had not had sushi until college and now I absolutely love it and it is a healthy choice! Tuna is terrific. Get it in a sandwich, on a salad, in a pita — request no extra mayo if your sandwich is being made to order.

Ah, I was in your shoes last year! All I ate was heavily processed “foods” and an overload of chocolate, and I rarely touched vegetables or even fruits. I was an emotional eater and often binged, ate because of cravings, not hunger (not to say that my body wasn’t hungry… for real food!) and I always felt lethargic and unhappy. I suddenly realized what I was doing to my body and wanted to change it. I didn’t even think about how hard it was going to be for me to try, even though I was a super picky eater. But I went for it and went cold turkey.
I completely stopped eating heavily processed foods, ate as fresh and simple as possible, stopped going to restaurants and made all my own food, even though I had no cooking experience. I experimented with all kinds of ingredients. I made no exceptions. That’s as simple as I can put it, but for a thorough guide of how I ate and a whole bunch of tips, check out this list, I’m sure you’ll find some useful information: http://nocrapdiet.wordpress.com/34-dos-and-donts/
I will never go back to the way I used to eat! Not only did I lose a bunch of weight, but all my headaches disappeared and I rarely get any cravings. All my meals are super satisfying and I’ve discovered a love of cooking. I feel proud that I was able to make these changes and stick with it and not let myself be tempted by all that "food" found at grocery stores and gas stations.
I don’t know how old you are, if you live with your parents or a partner, and what kind of job you might have so it’s hard for me to give you pointers. But no matter your lifestyle and age, it’s do-able! There’s a reason why all those products at the stores have super long lists of non-pronounceable ingredients, cheap prices and a shelf life of many generations – IT’S NOT REAL FOOD. As soon as you look into this and realize this, it’ll be easier to avoid it all. Why would I want to ingest all those things when all they’re going to do is poison my body, create an addiction, and make me feel and look horrible? Eating healthy can but doesn’t have to be expensive, it can actually be affordable like all the rest, you just have to know what to do. There’s all kinds of tips on this as well here http://nocrapdiet.wordpress.com/
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions, I’ll be glad to help =)
