More people die of cancer than modern medicine can cure: you have a less than a one-in-four chance of “surviving” cancer and as low as 1 in 100 with certain types, despite modern drugs and treatments. Cancer, although not contagious, and despite optimistic predictions of a cure before the end of the 1980s, is “spreading” faster than we have the ability to cope with it. Remember also that no doctor or pharmaceutical company will be foolish enough to give you a 100%-money-back-if-it-doesn’t-work guarantee on their medications or procedures!</li>

Information about Digestive Enzymes </p>
<p>Digestive Enzymes are enzymes that specifically work in the digestive system to facilitate the digestion, absorption, and transportation of nutrients. They also work to promote timely elimination of digestive waste products that are not of use to the body. Without enzymes, our cells would not get adequate nutrition and we would not survive.</p>
<p>Enzymes function as catalysts to enhance and dramatically speed up biochemical reactions that occur in every one of our cells. They are only activated in water, so staying hydrated is very important for enzymes to work effectively. Enzymes must be present to ensure proper digestion of nutrients, energy production, metabolism, transportation of fluid to cells, and elimination of toxins among many other functions.</p>
<p>Enzymes exist in foods to help our body&#8217;s breakdown what we eat. Raw, uncooked foods are the only foods that contain enzymes. Since the majority of our diets are cooked foods, we significantly limit the enzymes available in our food for digestion, thus putting more stress on our digestive systems. Some supplemental enzymes should be taken with food to enhance digestion and absorption of nutrients, whereas other supplemental enzymes should be taken on an empty stomach to support circulation, decrease inflammation, support our immune systems and combat stress. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am confused i have a nutrition plan i got and i really want to start it because i know if i am not eating enough times a day good and clean i will not loose weight or gain mass or muscle people say protein screws your kidneys and without protein no muscle but everything that has protein seems to be high in fat or Cholesterol  trans fat etc&#8230; the plan i have is high in protein and cholesterol but it all comes from good clean healthy food no junk and crap and a couple protein shakes a day it seems good but i am not to sure i am only asking because i really want to start working out hardcore but i know the way i eat now and the things i eat will do nothing for me no muscle or nothing but damm if healthy food is high in Cholesterol and trans fat and fat saturated fat etc&#8230;. how is it possible i just need help someone please and thank you for all the responces to<br />
<br />Are you trying to lose weight?  It is good to find foods with protein, but make sure you don&#8217;t over do protein, there is a limit.  Try not to exceed 130 grams of protein a day. Only have one protein shake at most a day also.  Each protein shake has about 25-50g.  Too much protein and your body wont process it all. So just eat healthy and make sure you have a good balance of foods. Try to exercise and weight train if you are trying to lose weight. Good Luck!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m 21 years old, I weigh 110, I just had a baby 6 months ago and before the baby i was underweight at 97 lbs. . . i want to tone up, reach 120 lbs and stay that way. How many calories should i be taking a day, I&#8217;m planning to work out as well, so how can i go about gaining 10 pounds, being toned, and maintaining that weight? What should my daily calorie intake be? (i&#8217;m aware that if i burn calories i need to replace them)<br />
<br />As a general rule you need 3 portions of carbohydrate, (ideally wholegrains such as brown rice or wholewheat pasta), 3 of protein (such as eggs or beans), 3 of fats (for example a small handful of nuts or some avocado), 2 of dairy (like cheese) and at least 5 of fruit and vegetables. Drink lots of water and aim for about 2500 calories a day.<br />
Nuts and cheese are calorific but healthy and can be easily mixed into your meals without increasing the quantity too much so you don&#8217;t feel like you&#8217;re overeating. X</p>

3 c Hot cooked brown rice<br />

<p>Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in garlic, chili powder, tomatoes and beans. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes. Add cheese and cook, stirring, until melted. Spoon into individual mounds of rice. Garnish with green onions. </p>
<p>Healthy Garden Quiche</p>
<p>1 clove garlic &#8212; finely chopped<br />
1/2 cup chopped onions<br />
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms<br />
1 tablespoon diet margarine<br />
8 slices Lite cheese slices &#8212; cut up<br />
2 tablespoons flour<br />
1 cup egg product &#8212; (no cholesterol)<br />
1 cup skim milk<br />
1/2 cup shredded carrots<br />
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning</p>
<p>In saucepan, cook onion, garlic, and mushrooms in margarine. In bowl, toss cut up cheese pieces with flour. Add onion mixture and remaining ingredients. Mix c arefully. Pour into lightly greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake in preheated 350 deg ree oven for 45 minutes or until set. Refrigerate leftovers.</p>
<p>Easy Chicken Creole</p>
<p>1 c Chopped onion<br />
1 Clove garlic, crushed<br />
2 tb Flour<br />
2 1/4 c Chicken broth<br />
1/4 ts Sugar<br />
Black pepper to taste 1 Med. Bell pepper, diced<br />
3 tb Oil<br />
1 cn Tomato paste ( 6 oz.)<br />
1/2 ts Salt<br />
1/4 ts Tabasco sauce (or to taste)<br />
2 c Cooked, cubed, chicken</p>
<p>Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until tneder, stirring occasionally. Add flour, stir just until flour starts to brown. Stir in tomato paste, broth, salt, sugar and Tabasco sauce. Cook and stir until mixture comes to boil and thickenes. Stir in chicken and black pepper. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes or until chicken in heated through. Serve over hot cooked rice.</p>
