Where can I find a balance and healthy eating plan.?
I’m not looking to lose any weight, as I am already pretty slim. I exercise regularly (kickboxing) at least twice a week. I’m looking to start eating healthy, but I don’t have a clue where to start. So any help will be appreciated =]

Fish Oil for Neurogenic Pain
Neuropathic pain is a chronic pain state that can be caused by trauma to the nerve tissue. In most cases the nerve fibers are often damaged or inflamed and because of this, the nerves are sending incorrect signals to the brain’s pain centers. Neuropathic pain is initially hard to diagnose, however, treatment can be as simple as taking an Omega-3 fish oil supplement.
The body produces pro-inflammatory cytokines. Under normal function they have various roles in inflammation, fever, regulation of blood pressure, clotting, immune function, tissues growth and regulation of the sleep cycle. However, if the balance isn’t maintained due to injury or poor diet, it can cause an overwhelming inflammation response. One of the many signs of inflammation in the body is deep neuropathic pain; such as fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet syndrome, low immune function, carpal tunnel and atherosclerosis; just to state a few.
Omega 3 fatty acids have overwhelming anti-inflammatory affects. It is very crucial to proper brain and many other body functions. A recent study from The University of Toronto, Canada published a case series of patients suffering from neuropathic pain syndromes.
Five patients with different underlying diagnoses including; cervical radiculopathy (slipped disc), thoracic outlet syndrome, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, and severe burns, they were treated with high oral doses of omega 3 fatty acids from fish oil (varying from 2400-7200 mg/day of EPA and DHA).
As a result of this treatment, patients had significant reduction in pain, improved function and overall wellbeing. After 19 months of treatment, there were NO serious side effects. Omega 3 fatty acid supplementation aids in a wide variety of health conditions including: Joint inflammation, chronic spinal pain, auto-immune disease, depression; etc. It is thought that suppressing the pro-inflammatory cytokines with the anti inflammatory Omega 3’s can greatly affect the body processes in the positive and a healthy balance can be maintained with no side effects.

Ok I am on a healthy eating plan as i want long term weight loss, please read on ?
I am drinking a lot more fluids ie , water before breakfast , dinner, tea, my question is , does your body ever get used to the increased fluid intake ? I feel like i spend most of my day on the loo !! Doesnt help when i go to work to be back and forth either lol Is this a temporary thing or will i be a wee monster forever ?
lol, well I’ve been on a diet for a while and only have 14lbs to go now until i reach my target weight, i drink a lot of water and my body hasn’t got used to it, i feel as though i spend my life having a wee, plus i must wake up about 5 times in the night just to go to the toilet. However, when the fat starts falling off you it doesn’t matter how many wees you have, as long as you are looking slimmer!! Good luck with the weight loss!!

Why is it every time I go on a healthy eating plan I need to go to the toilet more?
And I need to move my bowels more often. All that fruit and low gi food makes me want to poop. Before I would go to the toilet maybe once or twice every couple of days. Now I need to go sometimes twice a day. Is this normal?

How can I stick with my walking and healthy eating plan?
I work 12 hour days and am exhausted at the end, it’s so easy to nuke a pizza pop and spend time with my 3 young kids. I would love to get back into yoga and walking (recent knee injury, now ok), but I’m just so tired!
walk around with your kids, since there young they dont get tired as fast and would love to walk around at a park. yes you will be tired but no pain no gain right? play with ur kids alot. i mean like chase them. let the youngest one sit in ur lap while u slide down the slide 100 times. dont think about working out, think about having fun with ur kids

What is a healthy eating plan for me?
I’m 21 years old, I weigh 110, I just had a baby 6 months ago and before the baby i was underweight at 97 lbs. . . i want to tone up, reach 120 lbs and stay that way. How many calories should i be taking a day, I’m planning to work out as well, so how can i go about gaining 10 pounds, being toned, and maintaining that weight? What should my daily calorie intake be? (i’m aware that if i burn calories i need to replace them)
As a general rule you need 3 portions of carbohydrate, (ideally wholegrains such as brown rice or wholewheat pasta), 3 of protein (such as eggs or beans), 3 of fats (for example a small handful of nuts or some avocado), 2 of dairy (like cheese) and at least 5 of fruit and vegetables. Drink lots of water and aim for about 2500 calories a day.
Nuts and cheese are calorific but healthy and can be easily mixed into your meals without increasing the quantity too much so you don’t feel like you’re overeating. X
